I started this Foundation from a profound desire on my heart to pass on the blessings I have received. Over the years, I have been fortunate to wear many hats; a husband, a Father, a Pastor, an entrepreneur, a government official, a financial sector leader etc. Each chapter of my life has taught me something different, but one thing has always been clear – I have been incredibly blessed! And I have always felt a strong responsibility to give back.

I was raised to believe that when God blesses you, it’s not just for your own benefit it is so you can be a blessing to others. Especially to those who are struggling. Those who just need a door opened, a helping hand, or someone who believes in them.

This vision became even more powerful when my daughter and I shared a conversation that revealed we were carrying the same burden in our hearts. Without knowing it, we had both been feeling the same desire to give back and to make a real difference. That moment confirmed everything for me. So, as a family, we made the decision to start this Foundation together. And in September 2024, the Samuel Lifanda Foundation (SLF) was born.

SLF is our way of turning gratitude into action. Our focus is on helping children and young people especially those who have been left behind by providing access to quality education, digital literacy, mentorship, and community outreach. We believe in creating opportunity and planting seeds that will grow for generations to come.
